EMPLOYER OF THE YEAR 2015 & HOMES ART &CRAFT COMPETITION

It's been a little while but would just like to tell you what Hunt Healthcare have been up to.

Firstly our biggest announcement and achievement this year is that we won Employer of the year 2015 at the East of England care awards!    

Our residents at our homes Cavendish, Elm Tree, Gairloch and Winsford have had a great time at our Art & Craft competition where some wonderful things were made and got judge by the WI. There were paintings, cakes, knitting, paper mache ect. Just a few pictures to show the standard of the work that the residents produced and that everyone enjoyed the day. Well done to all the residents for the hard work they had put into all their art work.

This is an amazing Annual Competition between Hunt Healthcare Group Homes- The Cavendish, Gairloch House, Winsford House & Elm Tree.
There were various different categories & our residents aged 77yrs-107yrs entered their Creative Art & Craft Work.
Judging took place on 10/11/2015 & Gala Afternoon at Gairloch house on 12/11/2015

Gairloch House won the Arts & Craft Design Trophy 2015, Congratulations!

ALL RESIDENTS & RELATIVES ENJOYED WONDERFUL FIREWORKS PARTIES AT ELM TREE, GAIRLOCH HOUSE, THE CAVENDISH & WINSFORD HOUSE

NEW DIFIB TRAINING FOR ALL HOMES

All Staff received Amazing Training from Essex Paramedics for our New IPAD AED Machines, in all our Homes.

An Automated External defibrillator is a life-saving piece of equipment for use on casualties suffering from a cardiac arrest. They are a simple but extremely effective piece of life-saving equipment designed to be used by any person at the Home.

Buddy System

An exciting Buddy System has been developed in each of our 4 Homes.
Everyone of our residents has the opportunity & support to "buddy" a resident from one of our Homes.
This provides friendship, support and companionship on a day-to-day basis.
Special Buddy events are also held at our Homes to bring Buddies together.

Hunt Healthcare has launched New Awareness Weeks throughout the year at each Home.
We aim to Provide & Promote Information and Support & Share knowledge with our Residents, Family & Friends & all our Team Members.
